Literature for children and young adults which reflects the culture and experiences of African Americans, Asian Americans, Hispanic/Latino Americans, and Native Americans; selection guidelines, evaluation of literary quality, cultural authenticity, and educational uses.

Professionally supervised work experience in approved school, public, academic, or special libraries…. One-hundred and sixty hours of work experience.
